I was listening to Phish just now and I was thinking about the road trip Mark and I took to Colorado in the early 90s to see them at Red Rocks. I've been living outside the US for twenty years now, so I typed a google search for him, and much to my chagrin his obituary came up. Jack, and Julie we worked together at the CME, my deepest belated condolences. Mark was a good guy.

I am sorry to hear of your loss. Mark was in my third grade class at St Barnabas and I loved him! I still think of him every Christmas because one of my favorite ornaments I still hang on my tree is from Mark. My kids even know his name beause I mention it while I hang the ornament. I was very sad to hear of his passing. You are in my prayers.

Dear Lawler Family & Friends,

I am extremely upset to hear about the passing of Mark. My condolences to you all.

I was fortunate to have worked with Mark on Wall St. while he was here in New York about 7 years ago. I was also fortunate to have spent time with him on a trip down to Negril, Jamaica. He loved that place.

Mark was always a very kind, very caring and great person to be around. He will be missed.

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow

Please accept my deepest sympathies

I don't know what to say. We got the news today from Bobby Dyer. I have not stopped crying since. The way Mark touched my family's life. The Picture we posted was taken the last day of our trip to Chicago. A trip Mark paid for. I told him how much it meant to us. He said he knew how much it meant and the money was not important. It was the fact he could do it and he cared so much about people. That's the person Mark was We love him so very much. We will miss him everyday of our lives and our lives will not be the same without him in it. Our love to all of Mark's family and friends in Chicago we wish be could be there with you. We hope our memorys of Mark's love of people will help get all of us through this.

I never thought that the day I had to blow off lunch for work would have been my last chance to see you. What a lesson learned. The world lost a kind and gentle soul with your passing. Your laughter was contagious and every time I think of it, and you, I will smile.

My deepest sympathy goes out to the entire Lawler family.

The Mark Lawler I grew up with was always invincible. Thats what makes this both shocking and sad. There was always a certain mystique about Mark which drew people to him. He was kind, adventurous, strong, daring, and most of all loyal. I haven't been close with him over the years. Life has pulled us in different directions. But when I saw and spoke with him recently, it was if we picked up right where we left off. It was nice to see my old friend again and I cherish being able to speak and see him one last time. I hope you and Eddie find each other as friends again. I know you will never be alone. Peace!
