Memories and Condolences
for Mark Goodman

Not sure what to say?

Wendy Waxman-Lindahl

April 4, 2007

Dear Goodmans, Bernsteins, all who have had Mark in your lives long and short.
I can say that Mark was my first love and as I think back to the old days on Davis Street, I remember that Mark made me laugh, he brightened every room and knew all the best music. He will forever be the boy who stole my heart in 5th grade with his green eyes, wild brown hair and devilish smile.
I know that he made of his life a wonderful success in so many arenas as a husband to Carrie for 20+ years, a loving Father to Michael and Danielle a devoted Son and Brother and obviously a dedicated co-worker (a team player always). I have always been a fan, out on the little league sidelines and later hearing about Marks successes I continued to cheer him on knowing that his path was on track, that it was all in divine order and now... I can only offer my deep respect for the man Mark the boy became and condolences to each of you who are now feeling his loss. I pray for your peace and felt I needed to just chime in to say how Mark gave me the courage and helped me to feel loved as a girl and now as a newlywed. He helped me to say goodbye to my mother at an early age. I am so sorry I could not be at the funeral to grieve with all of you in person. I would've liked to have heard more and seen pictures but thanks to Lori, Maxine, Dave etc. I am aware and will continue to carry Mark and all of the memories of those days forever.
Heartfelt Blessings and Condolences to all,

Angela Coty

I am so sorry to hear of the loss of Mark, he may be gone but his memories will live on in your hearts forever. To have the pleasure of having been able to have worked with him at ABT for the 4 1/2 years I was there, he was not only a great coworker but also a great friend. I learned alot from him not only about appliances but also about life. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you.( I am a former employee of ABT.)

I am so sorry for all of you. Mark was always such a loving, loyal and genuine person. We didn't get enough of him. I'm sure he has been a wonderful husband and father. I'll always carry with me the love I felt for him when we were inseparable as mischevious little boys. He was one of the "good guys," and I will always remember his big, warm smile with great fondness. He will watch over all of you.

Mark & I shared the same alley growing up where we met to play a game of catch at least twice a week. He lived on Davis and I lived on Lamon. Through our little league days we had an annual collision at home plate where I was the catcher and he was the runner or vise-versa. We'd laugh about it every year and even through our adult lives when I would bump into him from time to time. I can't believe he's gone and I will miss him. My sincere condolences go out to his family. Our fun childhood memories will live on forever.

To all of the Goodman family we send our deepest condolences. I remember Mark mostly from my youth, when life was simple and care free. Over the years I have had the pleasure of doing business with him at ABT and seeing him with Carrie and his children at various social gatherings.
Mark brought many special gifts to this world, the one I will carry wih me most is his wonderful love of laughter. That along with his bigger than life cheshire cat grin will always help to remind me of the smiling child within us all.
Thank you for sharing your gifts with us Mark and from our family to yours we pray for peace and God's healing in this time of great sorrow.
With great sympathy,

To the Goodmans,

I coached Mark in Little League Baseball and he was as a boy as he grew to be a man, a cheeful unique soul. He was a consumate team player and showed the same qualities at ABT. I was very fond of Mark and saddened to see him taken so young and so vibrant. I can only assume God needed a really good third baseman.

It was alway so nice running into Mark around town, it brought back such wonderful memories of all the times he used to come over to our house when we were kids. I remember being very mean to him and my brother Bob back then. But I so much enjoyed knowing him and talking to him when we got older.
Mark was a truly, genuinely nice person. He will be missed.

My parents express their condolences. They loved him like a son.
