Mark Droegemueller Obituary

Droegemueller, Mark Of Chicago, died at Northwestern Memorial Hospital on December 31 after a brave battle with cancer. In his 62 years, Mark was successful in his career, but his greatest success was improving the lives of everyone who knew him. He was born in Battle Creek, Michigan in 1956, the son of the late Walter and Betty Droegemueller. Mark received his undergraduate degree from the University of Illinois and his graduate degree from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University. He began his career as a successful trader on the Chicago Board of Trade before finding his passion as the Chief Financial Officer for a private school in Chicago. Mark is survived by his two sons, Joseph and Augustus, whom he loved deeply; his brother, Ford; sister, Mary; and his niece and nephews. All who knew him will miss him. A celebration of Mark's life will be held on January 9 at 6:00 p.m., at Catherine Cook School Gymnasium, 226 W. Schiller, Chicago, IL.
