Uncle Marion,
You certainly have earned your rest. I know you are celebrating today with "my Dentyne". Please give her and mommy a kiss for me. I will always remember picking peaches in the backyard with you and our talks.
Love your niece,
Ellen

Tyronne, I was very sorry to hear of the passing of your uncle. The good news is he is now with the Lord after such a wonderful and full life here on earth. I am glad I had the chance to meet him at his home as we exchanded greetings. Again, he is now with the Lord.

FOR SIXTY YEARS, OUR MOTHER (RUBY) AND FATHER (OB) BECKUM HAD KNOWN THE MOORE'S,(CHARLOTTE AND MARION). THEY WERE NEXT DOOR NEIGHBORS AT THE HIGH POINT APARTMENTS.THEY MOVED AWAY FROM EACH OTHER NOT SEEING EACH OTHER FOR MANY YEARS, UNTIL BY SUPRISE NOT KNOWING MY MOTHER AND FATHER MOVED NEXT DOOR TO THEM IN 1963. THEY RENEWED THEIR FRIENDSHIP. THEY WENT TO BASEBALL GAMES AND BARBECUED TOGETHER. THEY WERE GOOD NEIGHBORS.
MR. MOORE WOULD TAKE MY BROTHER AND I TO SUNDAY SCHOOL AND
WORSHIP SERVICES. HE WOULD REPAIR THINGS AROUND THE HOUSE FOR US. WE WERE THERE FOR HIM WHEN MRS. CHARLOTTE PASSED. AND HE WAS THERE FOR US WHEN OUR BROTHER, MOTHER AND FATHER PASSED. IT WAS A SHOCKED TO HEAR OF HIS DEATH.
HE WAS A GOOD NEIGHBOR. HE WILL BE TRULY MISSED.
I HAVE FOUGHT A GOOD FIGHT, I HAVE FINISHED MY COURSE, I HAVE KEPT THE FAITH. II TIMOTHY, 4:7.
