We are so sorry for your lose. We pray for your strength and may the Angels wrap their wings around your mom (grandmother)for her gentle ride home. Although we did not meet her we can see the love,strength,generousity and compassion that you carry on as to be a sure sign of her while living out her legacy with the restaurant and continuing to give back to everyone with your hearts. We know we are extremely thankful for her for it was not for her there would not be you and we THANK GOD for you in our lives. Our heartfelt condolences and prayers will remain with you.

Dearest Teresa, Joann & Joey, upon hearing of your mom's passing it brought back so much of the Old Neighborhood and O.L.P. I thought of The Mother's Club, the plays they were in down in the school hall, pizza on Wednesday etc. I looked up and said to my Mom Dora, Marie is on her way up too, look for her. joey and family,our condolences on the loss of your mother, she was a wonderful women and will be missed by all who knew her.

I lived across the street on Aberdeen about 21 years ago. Tufano's was a constant presence in my house during that time, whether or not I went there to eat. I had many enjoyable meals at Tufano's, but even when I was just at home, the restaurant contributed a pleasant summery atmosphere to my house through its smells and sounds and the sight of happy customers coming in and out. That's a testament to Mrs. D.'s love of her work and how she passed that on to Joey. I don't think I'd be as happy to live that close to any other restaurant. I know this isn't a personal comment, because I didn't know the family well, but I still wanted to pay my respects to someone who made the community and immediate neighborhood a joy to live in.

I would always see your Mom sitting on her porch on my way into the restaurant. She was always so friendly and smiling and happy. I will miss her and I know you guys will too.

Dear Joey and family, I really loved your mom; she was so sweet. I think I worked with her with hypnosis 7 years ago and feel grateful that she lasted so long. She continued to smoke but that did not shorten her life. I always enjoyed my visits to her when I brought her and Anne Marie Communion. She does rest in peace already. My deepest sympathy.
