Marian Boyer Obituary

BOYER , Marian Louise Marian Louise Boyer , 82, beloved mother, grandmother and friend, died peacefully at her home in Towson, Maryland on February 27, 2010. Ms Boyer was a long-time resident of Towson, where she lived with her husband the late Dr. Samuel H. Boyer and raised their three children. Ms Boyer grew up in San Francisco, California and graduated from Stanford University in 1949 with a degree in biology. She became a laboratory technician and collaborated with her husband on genetic research at The Johns Hopkins University Medical School. Ms Boyer was also an avid weaver and an honorary member of the Weavers Guild of Greater Baltimore. She is survived by her three children Jeannette Rossoff of New York City, Donal Boyer and Thomas Boyer both of San Diego, California and eight grandchildren.
