I miss you so much Lupe. The family dynamics has changed so much since you left us. Many more of our family members have transition too. I know we will all be together again one day. Its just hard sometimes being here missing you and everyone else. It feels like more of my close family that I grew up with have passed. Its gets lonelier here the older I get. I rest easier knowing that we will all be together on day in Gods House.

Lupe, I miss you. You were my favorite aunt. You brought us joy and laughter during the hungry years. Thank you. Lynn is gone from us and with you now. I saw your face in her in July and then I knew she would be leaving us very soon. I also could sense your spirit and I knew this was a sign that you wanted me to give her all the love and support I could. I did Lupe. Lupe I think she knew she was sick for awhile, maybe she didn’t want to be here anymore either and just let nature take its course. Thanks for helping me understand what a beautiful spirit she is. I think Lynn and I finally developed a relationship and understood each others significance. I feel as though I lost you twice because I know your spirit stayed around her after you died because she needed you most and couldn’t let you go. Over the last few years you made her radiate like sunshine. You gave her the courage to connect and she fulfilled the pact to perfection. She lived with a renewed sense of freedom thanks to you. Lupe you are one of the strongest spirits I know. Lupe I remember what you said in the hospital the night June died, so I know you are letting him take care of you on the other side. You understood the life lesson so well, living is about how much you can give of yourself while your here not what you can take or accumulate. We come here with nothing so we need to prepare to leave that way. I learned so much from your generosity. I will always keep a watchful eye over your family. I think Tee Tee is going to be alright I remember in the hospital you said you were not worried about Tee Tee, it was Punkin that weighed on your heart. It’s hard Lupe I want to reach out to him more but it’s not easy (Please give me strength) God knows he is a good boy and I love him. I love you Lupe, my children love you and this life will never be the same without you. Alfred, Ronnie, Granny, Daddy, Papa, Grandma, the Canon, Uncle Pete and Kevin Work on us, I love you.

Dear Lupe,

I just finished viewing the photo of you & Lynn, that's included in your photo album (#2), as part of your Guest Book. In the photograph, Lynn is feeding you some food from her plate, at what looks like one of the many family gatherings. The two of you are smiling at each other & you both look so happy to be together, so happy to be sisters...

It is comforting to know that you were part of the "Welcoming Committee" when Lynn arrived in Heaven. Kenny and I know that there was great rejoicing when all of you, Mother Anna, Kevin, Ronnie, Alfred & you, Lupe, all embraced Lynn upon her arrival.

Lupe, we miss your smile, laughter and jokes. We miss our, "Chill Out" times with you, too.

Please continue to pray and intercede on behalf of our families from Heaven above. We really need it now, as we accept, but still grieve over the recent homegoing of our dear sister, Lynn.

Jeremy dreamed of June on the one year anniversary of his death Dec. 19th. Jeremy said that he gave his grandad a big hug. Annamaria always says that she sees her granddad in my house.

We had a Great Time at the Judge and Anna's Mother's Day Celebration on May 8, 2004, and we, missed you both. Even though, we knew you weren't present, but you were there in our hearts.



It was a Happy time to rejoice in the Lord, and thank God for those of us, who are left behind; and to reminisce the thoughts of Grandma, Grandpa, Mama, David, Juan Rios , Aunt Sophie, and the rest of the family, who has gone on before us, of all of the good times, we all shared together.



I know you were there to see Anna Maria sing her favorite song, and I know you both were proud of her too. AJ and Jeremy are growing and doing well, as well as Pumkin and Juanita.



I could visualize you both watching over the grandchildren and the family, and smiling the whole time.

No one ever wants to say goodbye to someone loved by so many people, but there comes a time when goodbye is all that's left to say.



I will always remember the countless summers that I spent at Auntie lupe's with Te Te, Punkin, Jacquilyn and Elliot. We always had the most fun at her house because she was always so creative in entertaining us and making sure we had a good time.



I would like to extend my deepest sympathy to my cousins: Juanita and Willie Russell, because I too, know the pain and grief that succumbs you with the passing of a parent. I want both of you to stay strong and stay focused. Remember, your mother has not left you because she is forever in your heart.

Missing you and June

To My Family In Chicago,

I'm saddened after hearing the death of my cousin, Lupe. She and I were very close while growing up. Two of my favorite cousins in Chicago are gone to be with the Lord; Tim and Lupe. The three of us spent quality time together on the south and northside of Chicago. One day, I shall see them again. WE must continue the family traditions started by the older generations in our family because tomorrow is not promised to any of us.
