MARIA (FRISSORA)
Maria Frissora Guglielmi, age 82, of Coraopolis, passed away on Sunday, January 21, 2007, after a brief illness. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, John, her brothers, Anthony and Jerry Frissora and sisters, Lina Colangelo and Concetta Giammarco. Maria is survived by her sister, Joan Pompeo (Guido), her sisters-in-law, Lena Frissora, Mary Frissora and Maria Guglielmi and by nieces, nephews, comare, compari, and many friends. Born in Introdacqua, Italy to Germano and Paolina (Mampieri) Frissora. Maria immigrated to the US in 1953. She was a devoted member of St. Joseph Church, Coraopolis and active with Sons of Columbus, St. Anthony Congrega, and Christian Mothers. She will be remembered for her sense of humor, her generosity and her never ending supply of Pizzelles. Visitation Tuesday 6-8 pm and Wednesday, 2-4 & 6-8 pm in the ANTHONY J. SANVITO INC. FUNERAL HOME, 1316 Fourth Ave., Coraopolis. Family Owned and Operated Since 1936. Funeral Prayers in the funeral home Thursday 9 am, followed by Mass of Christian Burial St. Joseph Church, 9:30 am.
