We were not close...but I always thought Liza was a shining example of kindness and simplicity. She was the ultimate nice girl from school. It was a shock to hear that she is no longer with us. I am sure she is at peace in heaven.

I was a new student at Imma in 6th grade. Liza was one of my "first" friends then who welcomed me with her gentle and friendly demeanor and her warm smiling eyes.
I will keep her in my prayers for an eternal and peaceful rest with our Lord.

To IHMC Batch '79,
Hello to everyone... In behalf of the Hernandez and Belen family, THANK YOU so much for all the love and prayers and most especially to those who remembered ate. It's sad she won't be around anymore (physically tho') in time for your silver alumni homecoming, but I am pretty sure she'll be with you guys in spirit.
Again, thank you so much especially to Mayt Gupit and Ceres Nazareno.
God Bless us all! More power to your batch... Go girls!!!!
Ging Hernandez-Agosto
P.S. Ate's name is Ma. Liza ( i noticed some entries were spelled as LISA) thanks....

Good-bye to a Dear Friend Liza,
It is so hard to say Good-bye.
The tears pour forth, as we all cry
We want to see that face, that smile.
We won't be ready, for a while
To say Good-bye to one we knew
Who lived and laughed so true.
We realize a broken heart
Is there inside you and: Apart
From all the things, we do not say
We wanted you to know today
That your love was a gentle kind
Of tenderness. So hard to find.
And though we may not say much more
Outside that giant hardwood door,
For it would cause more tears to flow,
We still wanted you to know:
We say good-bye to a Dear Friend...
And pray God saves your place....above.
From all of us--- IHMC batch 1979

We've been seatmates in high school and we're together in doing apostolate on weekends ... we feed the children with porridge and we hold games for the kids. she was so sweet and simple. Her favorite song in our time was "Love is All That Matters" and she always comes to my mind everytime i hear that song. I'm praying for the eternal repose of her soul.
