Memories of Aunt Margaret fill my head with laughter, red lipstick and a life well lived. I'm sorry for your loss and wish you tender memories.

I don't know when or where this photo was taken, but it reveals her attitude.

I am so sorry for your loss. I really admired and respected Aunt Margaret. She was a strong and brave woman. I will always remember her smiling and laughing on the 4th of July at our house in St Louis. Every year she and Uncle John would go out to buy fireworks and then argue about how and when to set them off.
Aunt Margaret always had a good joke to tell and had many a wry comment to make about things. She will be missed.

I was lucky enough to meet her a few times and Margaret was a hoot. I know how much Jessica, Joel and Mel loved her. RIP.

Aunt Margaret was my favorite aunt. She was outspoken, bold and funny. As a kid I always looked forward to seeing her when she came to St. Louis. I loved hearing how quickly she made the trip. It seemed like she bested her drive time with each trip. Please accept my most sincere condolences for your loss.

Growing up with you, grandma, was like having two moms. I will cherish all the wonderful memories especially making things with you. From sewing to cooking, we had so much fun together. You did so much for us. I love everything you made for me - from Halloween costumes and punk rock outfits to hand-knitted sweaters -- I was the luckiest kid in the world to have such a hip, smart, talented, and funny grandmother. I will miss you dearly.

Thank you grandma for everything you did for us. I don't know what we would have done as kids without you. Thank you for the holidays, wonderful meals, trips, and a home. I hope you and Hub and Sadie are all together again now. Love you and miss you dearly.

I miss talking to you, Mom. You were the smartest, sharpest, most savvy person I've ever known -- and you kept your amazing mind and great sense of humor throughout your 90 years. I'm glad I was able to finish the mystery novel for you this year. I promise to write more. We may not be talking on the phone for an hour or more each day -- but I'm still spending many hours talking to you every day (no phone necessary). Thank you for sharing your love of books and art with me -- your watercolors will always be on permanent display wherever I am. Love, Melanie
