Ms. Waldman helped me through Jr high, that's for sure. I looked forward to seeing her every Tuesday&thursday. She definitely became my coping mechanism ❣ unfortunately at the time, I didn't realize the impact she'd have on me as I got older. Life went on, I became an adult& I believe she helped mold me Into the woman and mother I am today. Sadly I heard of her passing a few years back and for the life of me couldn't remember her name so I finally get to pay my respect&give condolences to her family. Even Afters this much time, she's still loved and not forgotten about. I miss you more than I thought I'd ever miss you Ms. Maggie. Continue to rest peacefully& beautifully.

Maggie was my friend and counselor in Junior high school. I heard of her passing shortly after her passing. But not till now have I really gotten the chance to say goodbye, for 6 years I've looked for answers and this chance. I sit here now 20 years old. She had such a positive influence on my life. And I want to take this chance to say goodbye. I'll never forget you.

I am so sad to learn so belatedly of Maggie's passing. I am as sorry to know it as I am grateful that our paths crossed (too briefly) a few years ago and for the real joy she brought into my life. She had a smile that spread to everyone around her as quickly and easily as it would spread across her beautiful face. She had a singular, spontaneous and easy laugh that I will always hear in my mind's ear. She hugged like no one else. She cared so much about others and worked really hard to encourage them and help them. My heart goes out to her family, friends, students and co-workers.
My hope is that the gift of her goodness and the treasure of the memories she placed into the lives of those she shared her love with will comfort and sustain those who love her.
She was not given many years here, but I believe a person lives on in this world as long as one person remembers their sweetness. In that sense, she will live a very long time on this earth. We honor her memory by continuing to bear her goodness and gifts within us and to others. And when we all meet her again in heaven, she will want to hear the stories of how we did that. Maggie always liked to hear a good story as much as she liked to tell one.

Dear Mary and Pete,
I was sad and hurt to hear about Maggie. I met Maggie at a young age at St. Michael's, where she was also known to me and others as "Magg Pie". Maggie would light up a room. Maggie would always look on the bright side of things and make people smile. She had an energy that made people like her and want to be like her. Maggie's spirit will always live on in the peoples lives she touched. Maggie Waldman will never be forgotten.
