Margaret Viola Obituary

Mr. Viola and Family,
I just learned of Mrs. Viola's passing from Marianne. I am so sorry for your loss. Peggy was a wonderful woman. It's been a long time since I've seen you, but my memories are that you all made her so happy with your love of family, close relationships and ability to enjoy each other! She was a graceful and loving person. My deepest condolences.

Dear Tony, So many years have passed since we saw you and Peg. Perhaps as many as 20. I learned of Peg's passing from our daughter. I will always think of her as one of the loveliest women I ever had the pleasure of knowing. I know you must be heart broken. She was always "Your Peg" May she sleep in heavenly peace. Dear Viola Family

I am so sorry for your loss, no words can convey the sorrow and please know that my thoughts are all with you during this time, I just wanted to share with you my impression of how Marianne had impressed upon me the importance of "family" when i first met her before her wedding to steve. One of the most striking memories and most touching things I remember is the display of family photos she had displayed on her wall in Park Ridge.....I know that is just an example of your close bond and that this will sustain you through your time as a family ahead. MY prayers for your mother and all of you.

I am so happy I got to see PEG when the liitle kids graduated at MSW. It made me very sad to see her so ill. Please know that the DOHR FAMILY SENDS OUR LOVE AN AFFECTION TO ALL OF YOU.

To Tony and his Children,
I met Peggy when we were classmates at Mount Mary College. She was studying to be a home economics teacher and I was studying to be an English teacher. After graduation, our paths came together again when she told me about a teacher position opening at Miner Junior High in Arlington Heights (for which I will always be grateful). We were on staff together for the next six (?) years and had lots of fun times. She was always the gracious, upbeat person I knew in college. I last spoke with her before our MMC class of '57 was having its 50th reunion. Tony, our thoughts and especially our prayers are with you and your family at this sad time.

Aunt Peggy exemplified the beautiful characteristics of a fabulous womanhood all of us (females) hold near and dear to us. It’s no wonder to learn that her favorite Saint was St. Therese the Little Flower, in her imitation of her meek, mild and gentle ways, bright smile and quiet disposition. Love and peace be your greatest consolation today knowing how perfectly well you did everything to make the last two years of her life filled with happiness, comfort and hope. She’ll never forget that – neither should you. Bask in her heavenly glow as long as you can. That’s what our great faith asks of us. How joyful to comply!

Peggy was an inspiration to us all. She was the most positive and generous person we have ever met. Her calm, loving and kind manner was a reflection of what she looked for in everyone. We are all blessed to have had her in our lives.

Still after all these years, I think of all of you on Thanksgiving Day as well as Christmas Day.. all those wonderful memories...all these years...What a beatiful person Aunt Peggy...Im saddened by your lose, yet, Im so blessed knowing I had her in my life, and for your lives which have so enriched my own memories of family, love and happiness.
