Hi Grandma well mom finally went home to be with you and Leonard , Hon and Bill we tried to keep her here as long as we could but she was getting so sick. It is 5 days and we miss her so much she was our life just as you was. If she wouldn't of gotten so sick she would of been a spittin image of you. Grandma you are thought about always and now that mom has gone home to you we are very happy for you . We love you and mom more then words can say our hearts are aching but on the other hand we are glad mom is out of pain and with you all. Forever in our hearts and memories you both will always be. Grandma its been 11 yrs now that you left us you are thought about daily. Well it is almost a year since you left us.And it does not get any easier I miss you more as time goes on. It seems like i catch myself more and more of thinking i have to call Mother and tell you whatever i might be thinking of at that time. then i come back to reality and miss you so much. Sorry i have not been in to write to you for a while.But i am sure you have all the news as to my being sick.The reason i say that is because the night before the surgery as i laid there scared to death as to what would happen the next day, as i was praying to God for his guidance i

At that very moment there was the cool breeze that passed over me and i knew it was you letting me know you were there. Instantly i had a great calm come over my entire body and i was calm and not scared anymore. Mother i know you are always near but i wish so much that i could only reach out and touch you or hold you in my arms.

Dear Grandma, I am really missing you so much. This has really been hard. I called and talked with Betty a couple of weeks ago. She misses you so much,but she says she visits you everyday. I'm sure you know this. She really get confort from those visits. My Mom is also still trying to cope,It will take time for her also.

I still think about calling you for a fleeting moment every so often. I am so thankful for the special relationship we've always had. Every minute whether in person or on the phone was special to me. I was thinking the other day about our little trips for lunch and then just taking a ride. Margaret and I just talked about how you loved to do that . You made us feel so much of your love.
