Good morning, I was Mrs M Darts mail lady for 6 years and she always treated me with kindness. She would have Goody bags for me and have talks with me while she walked her dog. I really missed those talks, and when I was going through a divorce she told me to hang in there, that I was a good woman and I kept me going she will forever be missed

Wow! I´m 2 years late and maybe even more sad. Mrs. Dart was my 8th grade teacher. But I met her long before when for 2 different years I have 2 different 8th graders walk me to school. Mrs Dart would give me tootsie rolls.
So, by time I got to 8th grade, I was excited to finally be in class with her. My three memories from that year are the endless studying for the Constitution test, getting ready for Tom´s first campaign as alderman I believe, and viewing the movie JFK. A movie that is not only my favorite, but initiated a fixation on Kennedy and his assassination.
I would graduate and then only see her at Jewel when I was working as a cashier.
I remember she gave me White Sox tickets for my graduation from High School.
The last time I saw her was likely at my Mothers funeral mass in 2014.
I still think of her, obviously, I love her with all my heart.
I have since moved to Wisconsin and with my mothers passing, my connection to Barnabas has
Dwindled and I don´t hear all of the information.
Even though o am late, please accept my condolences, what a wonderful woman she was and what an impact she had on so many

She was my 8th grade teacher at Harnew School in Oak Lawn. It was the year she got married and she invited us all to her wedding and we went! Such a thrill for us and such a kind and loving gesture from her. As a teacher she was truly inspiring and played a large role in my always reaching for the stars. Rest in peace, dear lady.

Mrs. Dart taught us both at St. Barnabas...many years ago. We both adored her and her wonderful sense of humor. She was an excellent teacher and showed true compassion. She still comes up when we share our favorite stories from the old neighborhood. Our prayers are with you all. Thank you for sharing her light with us.

Dear Dart Family:
Your Mom was the absolute "best". Me, my two sisters and brother were all beyond fortunate to have been taught 8th grade by your Mom. She was so kind, thoughtful and humerous. In fact, my beloved memories of Saint Barnabas School, to this day, involve many of the life lessons I learned from your Mom.
God Bless your Family thru this difficult time as your Mom's legacy at Saint Barnabas is substantial alongside Father Hurley and Bishop Goedert.
Warmest regards,
Tom Bennett
