Margaret Cushing Obituary

Dearest Cush,
our depest heartfelt condolences go out to you on the untimely death of your mom. I just learned of it yesterday while talking to Bubby. I am truly sorry -- she was a great woman.

Dear Cushing Family,
After reading all of the messages that people wrote about your Dear Mom, I can only think what a wonderful lady she must have been.I am sorry for your loss.
I remember my days at Regina,Thank you for being such a Great big sister Cathy.. your KINDNESS is something that you remember your life.I want to thank you.It did make my sail a little easier.

To the Cushing Family,
I have just heard this sad news. Your mom was a very gracious and kind women whom I adored. I cannot tell you how very sorry I am for all of you on this tremendous loss.

I was saddened to learn of Margaret's passing. She was a dear lady who's warmth and wisdom touched my life at a time when I was experiencing some difficulties. I shall always carry wonderful memories of her.

We were in NH when John told me about your mother's passing. Ray and I are so sorry for your family -- what a loss! That smile of hers was worth a million bucks. She always made you feel better for having seen her.

I am sorry to learn of the passing of your mother. I remember her from St. Mary of the Woods as a kind and sweet woman. Your family has endured the passing of many family members, which brings great sorrow. But you have also had the joy of their love and companionship, much in the way that I cherish the memories of my parents. Although the years make it seem so long ago, the memories of our wonderful youth... the knowledge that we were protected, well cared for and loved... are the foundation of who we became. Your Mom always made me feel that in your home... like an extension of my own. Margaret was nothing but a sweetheart to me in all the years I've known her, and she and my Mom and Dad really hit it off when they finally had a chance to meet. I'm glad her passing was peaceful, and she's re-united with her husband Jack, son Rob, daughter Patty, son-in-law Mike Duff, and others. She will be missed and remembered.

Cousin Margaret’s time on earth is done, sad that she has been leaving us all a day at a time. We all have memories of the good times and we try not to dwell on the bad times. Your Mom was one of those neighborhood Moms it was always so nice to see and such a gracious "host" when the kids would invade her home and yard. She was always so nice and friendly and smiling...she seemed to really enjoy when her kids had friends come over and when you think of all her children and the number of friends you all had...well, it's amazing to think of how the door was always open to us and we were always made to feel welcome in her home.
