I was a friend of Marcy's in college. I just found out recently that she passed away. The world has lost a lovely human being. I always want to get in touch with her over the years because she was so much fun. I attended several parties during that time which she had given. At the time, I had a very possessive boyfriend, and then I was hospitalized for an injury which occurred at work. Heaven has gained a very beautiful person.

I want to extend my deepest sympathy and condolences to the Keno family on the loss of such a beautiful person, Marcy. During the summers of 1998 and 1999, I worked as an INROADS intern in the Community Events division of the Marketing department at the Chicago Tribune. Marcy was my boss. Working with Marcy at the Tribune taught me invaluable lessons on professionalism, and having a genuine concern for others (even in a business setting). I will cherish all that I learned from her for the rest of my life. My entire family is praying for yours. God has called another one of his angels home. And we will miss Marcy; immensely.
May God bless you and keep you,
Voltaire R. Sterling

I offer my condolences to the Keno family on the death of Marcy. You may remember that I was one of Dr. Keno's patients from the early 50's until his retirement. When I saw the obituary, I knew that Marcy was your daughter.

I knew Marcy from Congregation Kol Ami. I will remember her for many qualities, especially her quiet warmth, understanding and depth. She was an enthusiastic leader and a supportive, empathic and appreciative listener. My heart goes out to her Mom and Dad. I ache for you. We all share in your loss.

I had the pleasure of working on variety of projects with Marcy over the past 10 years. She was beloved by all who had the chance to get to know her. The work she did helped so many people in the community who never had the chance to get to know her - because she was a helpful "angel." Marcy's legacy will live on each time someone reaches out to help someone in need. I will miss her.

I was so sorry to hear about Marcy. We worked together many years ago at the sun times and I very much liked her and respected her. She had a great smile and I had since talked to her a few times over the years. Each time I spoke to her, she was upbeat and obviously loved life. Marcy truly was a professional and a very nice person. I just lost my mother last week and a brother a year ago so I do feel so much for your loss. My thoughts and prayers go out to the entire Keno family.
