Dad

I will always remember that you always time for us kids even when you were working 12 hour shifts. You were never too tired to take us to the baseball games which meant taking three buses and a train to see the Cubs or two buses and a train to the Sox games. I remember playing Dominos and Gin Rummy with you for hours. My earliest memories is you paying your “Los Billes” from your “Maleta” and you let me play with a single metal cigar tube you placed you pennies in. I remember you coming to see me at my baseball games at Russell Square Park and attending my games when I was in High School. I remember how I thought you could fix everything in a house from plumbing, to electrical, to TVs.

I know many are indebted to you for all that they have today. You have helped your brothers and sisters, mom’s brothers and sisters, and your own children attain the success they have enjoyed in life. You never asked for anything in return but enjoyment from their success. We all owe you a great debt for who we are today.

What you have left behind is a legacy. A legacy that will not be forgotten; I miss you and love you.

Your loving son,

Robert
