I played baseball for Coach Rodriguez during my sophomore year at Weber High School in the spring of 1992. He was a wonderful coach, loved and respected by his team, and he brought together a fairly rag-tag group and turned us into a formidable baseball team. I was fortunate to have known and played for Coach. I will keep him and his family in my prayers

Dear Nancy and Family,

Coach Tony was my coach at Weber HS in Chicago. We had a great team and he was one of the best coaches I have ever known. What a fantastic guy. Know that he affected the lives of many Weber Red Horde graduates who had the honor to play ball for him. He had a legendary voice and I will miss him.

I had the privledge of working with Tony many years ago at Fort Dearborn Company. He was one of the first people I met as he showed me how a printing press worked. He left an indelible impression then and still has to this day. I respected and admired his work ethic. He is truely missed and you have my deepest sympathy.

The Rodriguez family was a gift to our community. I have never found two parents so willing to dedicate everything to their children like Tony and Nancy.
