Dear Patricia;
Marc had assisted me in covering video for the Village of Carol Stream, several years ago.We would meet every other Tues. I really liked him, and felt very fortunate to have him shoot for me.
Your son will truly be missed.

I had the pleasure of working with Marc on several projects with the Chicago Tribune. He was a very talented man and always such a delight to work with. His smile and laugh were infectious and he always seemed so full of joy. He will truly be missed and my thoughts and prayers are with his friends and family during this difficult time.

I am so sorry to hear about Marc's passing. I have cut Marc's hair for the past 10yrs..Lizzi and Alicia..you were always the topic of his conversation. My deepest sympathy for all of you. He was such a great man.

To the Zyburt Family....I am so sorry for your lost, we reconnected thru Facebook and it has been great revisiting friends from childhood, so many memories church, school, scouts and family. The St. Wenceslaus friends will truly miss him. By his photos you could see how proud he was of his girls. How much love was shared. We will keep your family in our prayers.

I attended St. Wenceslaus with Marc. It has been a while since I had seen him. I am very sorry for your loss. Take care.

I went to high school with Marc at Weber in Chicago. We didn't really know each other as I was a freshman and he was a senior. We met again when both of our children attended St. Joseph Elementary school in Addison.

I always admired what a dedicated man he was to both his family, his friends and our church. He is someone that I admired and emulated in many ways.

His children were always happy, well-liked, talented and intelligent. I strongly beleive that this was due mostly to Marc's parenting and guidance.

I wish I had the chance to talk with him recently, as we drifted apart after my kids left the school. I will always remember Marc for the great person that he was, as I am sure everyone will.

My heart goes out to his family and especially his children. Elizabeth and Alicia. Take comfort in knowing that he has most certainly earned a place in Heaven. God bless you and be strong. That is what he would want. Always make him proud, as he told me he was of you both on many occasions.

I very much enjoyed and appreciated working with Marc here at the Village of Buffalo Grove since 2005. He created wonderful videos – aside from the great work he did with our Village Board, he created programs on teen driving safety, a documentary with the Make A Wish foundation about a young cancer patient who was a “police officer for a day,” as well as programs on firefighting, public works, golf, police and more. He will be very much missed by all of us here in Buffalo Grove. He was a wonderful professional, a talented videographer, and I considered him a friend. Go White Sox! Go Blackhawks!
