Elaine & Jerry Brown
July 8, 2007
Joe, Your phone call was the hardest one that I had to answer because I know you were going to tell me Mae passed away. Mae was a very dear friend and would go and do anything with me at the drop of a hat. I'd call her and she'd say that she's tired, but when I said I'm going to bingo, she said I'll be ready in 5 minutes. She loved her bingo and casino. We did a lot of movies where we'd smuggle in food, even McDonalds one time. She was a 2nd mother to me since my mother was in Pa. and she's gone now too since 1997. I'm going to miss Mae dearly. Im glad we were able to see her and for her to meet my husband Jerry on our trip to Chicago in May. My condolences to you, Carol, David and all her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Please keep in touch. May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow. Love, Elaine
