Maderia West Obituary

Maderia Dyess West went home to be with the Lord on June 2, 2013. She was born to Mamie and Carroll Clayton Dyess on June 21, 1923 in Claxton, Georgia. After her dad's death her mother moved the family to West Palm Beach in 1940. In 1953 she married Leonard William West. He passed away in 1993. She retired from Leased Housing Corp. in 2001 and settled in Jupiter. Preceded in death by her brother, Gerald Frank Dyess, she is survived by one sister, Arlene Pinkston Kidd; a very special nephew, Billy Pinkston and wife, Barbara; nephews, Roy Pinkston, Randy Dyess, Greg Dyess, Sammy Todd Dyess; niece, Bonnie Renner; numerous grand nephews and nieces and a special friend, Betty English. A Graveside Service for family and close friends will be held on Thursday, June 6, 2013 at 3:00PM in Hillcrest Memorial Park, 6411 Parker Avenue, West Palm Beach, FL 33405, (561) 582-4131. In lieu of expressions of sympathy donations may be made to Hospice of Palm Beach County in Memory of Madria Dyess West.
