Madelyn Byers Obituary

Madelyn G. Byers, 80, a resident since 1975 of Tallmadge, Ohio, an employee of the purchasing department of Firestone Tire & Rubber for 33 years until her retirement in 1975, died on Saturday, October 21, 2000. Memorial services are scheduled for Thursday, October 26, 2000, 1 p.m., at First Congregational Church of Tallmadge, 85 Heritage Drive, Tallmadge, officiated by the Rev. Dr. John Schlup. The family will receive friends immediately following the service. The family expresses deepest thanks and appreciation to Elizabeth Bender M.D. and Michael Flynn M.D. for their skill, compassion, concern, and availability at all times. Thanks also to the caregivers of Akron City Hospital and particularly to the Sixth Floor West staff for their loving attention to Madelyn's needs. In lieu of other remembrances, donations may be given to the First Congregational Church of Tallmadge, 85 Heritage Drive, Tallmadge, OH 44278. Arrangements entrusted to Hennessy-Bagnoli, Tallmadge.
