M.B. Shaw Obituary
Family-Placed Death Notice
M.B. Shaw, 88, of Covington, died February 26, 2006. Surviving are his children, Nadia and Marc Coody of Cota de Caza, CA; Bill and Sherry Shaw of Atlanta; Kay and Steve Coggin of Social Circle; Phil and Richie Shaw of Griffin; Deedy Shaw Pate of Conyers; 15 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren; brothers, Emory Shaw of Thomaston and James Shaw of Tallahassee, FL; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, March 2, 2006, at First United Methodist Church, Covington, with Rev. John Whatley, Dr. Don Martin and Rev. Royeese Stowe, officiating, and interment following at Covington City Cemetery. Family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday, March 1, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to First United Methodist Church Building Fund, 1113 Conyers Street, Covington, GA 30014. Caldwell & Cowan, Covington, GA.
