Lynn Verburg Obituary

Verburg, Lynn (nee Beutel) Passed away on January 28, 2017. Just wanted to let you know I have joined my long suffering husband, Gary, who preceded me in death. I found him hiding behind my Mom and Dad, Rosemary and Wallace Beutel. My sister, Nancy Beutel, battled him out. All were here to meet me. Doesn't matter how old I was, I weighed 110 lbs. I have left behind to spend their inheritance four of the best kids God could send me, Heidi (Steve) Hatfield, Jeff, Jillian (Earl) Thrasher, Natalie (Tony) Nuccio; my terrific grandsons, Sean and Anthony; my much older siblings, Diana (the late Charles) Benda and James (late Mary) Beutel, and a slew of the nicest nieces and nephews. And, of course, my BFF, Louise Ryba. If you are coming to the funeral it would be nice if you could have one person per car so it looks like I had a lot of friends. Thank you and goodnight. It's been one heck of a ride. Funeral Service will be at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, February 3, at Cypress Funeral Home, 1698 N Bloomingdale Rd, Glendale Heights, IL 60139. There will be a visitation, also at the funeral home, from 3:00-8:00 p.m., on Thursday, February 2. Interment Assumption Cemetery.
