I am so sorry about your loss she was a very special lady and her presence was always a pleasure. I will never forget our walk at your last house when Jim & I came with the folks to visit, we just talked about everything. I will miss her! You will be in my prayers always, as she will. Love, Sue

I want to express my deepest sympathy for your great loss in the passing of Lydia. As Christians we find great comfort in knowing that life on earth is followed by better things ahead, in the place Christ has prepared for all who accept Him as Saviour. In His kingdom there is no need for "cures" !!

I have truly lost a wonderful sister-in-law. How saddened we all are, but she will always remain in our hearts. Great times we had in Delta with family over the years, and being able to all golf together. My prayers will continue for you during this difficult time.

Phil,

It was obvious from the moment I met you both through the Sunbirds, you had a very special marriage. You complimented one another, and shared a love and respect for each other not often seen in a marriage. You took such excellent care of Lydia right to the end. Both of you went out of your way to help care for others in the same manner, especially during our fellow friend, Urban's, cancer. You have always treated your friends and acqaintences as equals. Lydia was a lovely and gracious lady, and I am confident she did pass you in the sky last Saturday afternoon on her way to God in Heaven.

Dear Phil and family, We have lost a very dear friend but we know that she is now at peace with God. Our last memory of her was the great time we had sharing your Arizona home and visiting all the beautiful places she wanted to make sure we saw. We were so sorry to hear that Lydia had passed away (on Scott's birthday).
