Lydia Dieterich Obituary

Lydia Dieterich, 82, of Riesel entered into rest Tuesday, March 19, 2013. Funeral Services will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, March 21, 2013 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Riesel with Rev. Robert Kitson officiating. Burial will follow in the Trinity Lutheran Cemetery. Visitation will be 6p.m. to 8p.m. Wednesday, March 20, 2013 at the Adams Funeral Home in Marlin, Texas.

Lydia Margaret Zost Dieterich was born on July 29, 1930; the daughter of Charles and Ida Zost. Married to Ben Dieterich on November 25, 1951. Lydia loved her Lord and her Church; she also enjoyed gardening, sewing and providing and caring for her family. She became a member of Trinity Lutheran Church on December 18, 1951.

Lydia was preceded in death by her husband, Ben Dieterich; parents; brother and sister-in-law, Ernest and Bertha Zost; brother-in-law, August Neuman.

She is survived by son, Ben Dieterich, jr. & wife Lou Ann of Riesel; daughters, Debra Murphy & husband Randall of Granbury, Cheryl Lowe & husband Kermit of Riesel; Grandchildren, Chris, Brandon and Jason Dieterich, Jonathan and Matthew Murphy, and Samantha Lowe; brother, Carl Zost & wife Johnnye of Perry; brother, Ralph Zost of Euless; sister-in-law, Edna Neuman of Waco.

Pallbearers will be Chris Dieterich, Brandon Dieterich, Jason Dieterich, Jonathan Murphy, Matthew Murphy, Samantha Lowe, and Glen Dieterich.

In lieu of flowers the family request memorials be made to Trinity Lutheran Church at P.O. Box 447 Riesel, Texas 76682.

Services entrusted to the care of Adams Funeral Home, Marlin, Texas.

So many years have passed by since I last saw Lydia...I remember a very lovely, kind and gracious lady. Praying that God gives comfort to all of you here as she begins her Heavenly Journey with all those who've gone before her...and joy in the knowledge that one day the road, when God calls your names, a grand reunion will await each of you.
