Lucian Watts Obituary

Lucian Lee Watts, age 8, of Little Rock Camp, departed this life Friday, September 12, 2003.

Lucian was born in Clarksburg, May 19, 1995, a son of Larry Allen Watts, II, who survives in Clarksburg, and the late Loretta Pandora Rowan Beverly.

Surviving are his step-father, Scott Beverly; one step-brother, Edison Fox Beverly, Sardis; his paternal grandparents, Betty Newbrough Watts and her fiancé, Pat Vanover, Jr., Clarksburg; Larry Allen Watts, Salem; his maternal grandparents, Jane Allen, Reynoldsville, David Lee Rowan, Sardis; grandparents Roberta Rose and John Kenneth Beverly; his great grandmother, Mary M. Newbrough; and was also loved by several aunts uncles and cousins.

He was also preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Raymond E. Newbrough; his great grandfather for whom he was named, Lucian Watts, and his great grandmother, Frances Napier Watts.

Lucian was a third grader at Wilsonburg Elementary. He loved Army men, Cub Scouts and his best friends C. J. and David, and he was an expert at video games. He was a member of the Church of God of the Bible in Dola.

Family and friends may call at the Davis Funeral Home, One Olen Thomas Drive, Rt. 98, Clarksburg, Wednesday from 2-8pm, where funeral services will be held Thursday, September 18th at 10:00am. The Reverend John Hayes will officiate. Interment will be in the Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.
