Louis Valone Obituary


Valone, Louis G. 87, WWII Army Vet., fell asleep in the Lord Jesus Christ on September 7, the loving son of the late Constantine and Ioanna Valone, beloved brother of Harry (late Marjorie), Katherine and the late Victoria (late Sam) Kalas, late George (late Mercedes) and the late James (Lucille), loving uncle and great-uncle of many nieces and nephews. Will be missed by many other dear cousins, relatives and friends. Retired employee of Chicago Dept. of Streets and Sanitation. Funeral Friday, 9:30 a.m., from Hills Funeral Home, LTD, 10201 S. Roberts Rd., (8000W), Palos Hills, to S.S. Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Church, service 10 a.m. Interment Evergreen Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to Koraes Endowment Fund or Sts. Constantine and Helen Church appreciated. Visitation Wednesday and Thursday, from 2 to 9 p.m. "Blessed is the path on which you are traveling, O Soul, for a peaceful place is being prepared for you".
