Louis Rago Obituary

Dear Mrs. Rago,
You don't know me personally. My Mother and her famiily grew up with the Ragos. I was born in the neighborhood also. In the past several years, on occasion, I had visited with Joe and Louis and found them to be kindly gentlemen.I was planning to stop by and chat with Louis once more but just learned of his passing. Please accept my hearfelt sympathies in your loss.

Addie, I was shocked and saddened to hear about Louie. I loved Louie because he was always so nice to me and my family. Whenever I hear his name I see his smiling, handsom face and hear him say "Hey LuLu, what's goin' on Lu?" And I would say" How the hell are ya, Lou?" He was so sweet, always. I also remember he was a very good dancer. You and Louie hold a special place in my heart which will be there forever. Love - Lu

The king of the the mortishions is gone never to be replaced there isn't anyone out there that could do what you did.YOU WERE THE LIGHT OF THIS FAMILY. You will be missed forever. Uucle Ludi you were the best,you were a class act and always had smile for everyone. I WILL MISS YOU LOTS.

Uncle Louie, I say Uncle, even though we were not related, I always thought of you as a blood relative. You and Aunt Addie were
great friends with my parents and when all of you got together the kids were included. All the hockey games, vacations and in the summer going to those motels with 50 people and one room - what a blast!!! Your humor and love was felt by all your friends children and I am no different. You will always hold a special place in my memories and especially in my heart.

To the Rago family. We are saddened to hear of Louie's death. Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this most diffucult time. My father, Jack Costanzo, and I remember a kind and gentle man from the old neighborhood. God Bless you all.

To the Rago family, I would like to express my sympathy, I will always remember how Lou always called me Roxanne even though my name is Rosanne. I know he will be missed. Rosanne Cadetto (Pete and Ida Cadetto's daughter)

To the Rago Family, I always knew him as Uncle Louie, as a little boy I got to know thru Uncle Vic & Aunt Theresa. To be apart of the neighborhood for all those years is a true statement of his pride in family and friends. The last time I saw him was at Vic and Theresa's daughter's wedding. I drove everybody to church.
this Irish kid from the west side always loved the Rago cooking.

Dear Addie, My thoughts and prayers
are with you.I have always looked at louie like an uncle. My family and I wish you well.

We were so sorry to hear of your loss. The thoughts of many are with you at this time of sorrow.

May the love of friends and family carry you through your grief.

I would like to extend condolences to Mrs. Rago and the rest of the Rago family. I will always be thankful for Mr. Rago's WW2 military service for our country. I also know he provided assistance to many familys of veterans throughout the years.

Louie my heart is sadden by your passing,you will always be in my prayers .

Uncle Lou, From the first time I went with you to Maxwell St. to the family partys. All the laughs you gave me. With jokes and your smile I will miss you forever.

We'll remember all the fun times & laughs we had at family parties. We love you very much and will miss your smiling face. After all the funerals you oversaw, you always made it a point to make us feel comfortable at every one of them. Rest now and know that you are loved. Love, your niece Joanie
