Pignatelli, Louis J. loving husband of Eileen (nee Smith), beloved father of Joseph (Kathleen) Pignatelli, Kathy (David) Schruba and Mary (Jim) Hahn, cherished grandfather of Julia, Jon (Lauren), James, Michael, Anne, Mary, Margaret, Alice, Jared, Olivia, Jason, Correy and Nathan, loving great-grandfather of Cheyanna, Cara, Noah and Roman, fond brother and uncle of many. Funeral Monday, 9:15 a.m., from Salerno's Rosedale Chapels, 450 W. Lake St., Roselle, Anthony & Daniel Morizzo Funeral Directors, to St. Walter's Church for 10 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial. I am a member of the illinois chapter of the 8th air force historical society. Lou was one of my favorite members in the chapter. I enjoyed having dinner and hearing Lou's stories- he will be missed

Eileen -
I am saddened to hear of the passing of Louie. I have many fond memories of you and Louie and "the club" coming to my parent's house and playing cards -laughing and telling stories! Louis was a great husband, a loving father, and a fine man. He will be missed, and remembered fondly.

Mr. Pignatelli was a great man and it was a pleasure to have had him in our lives. The man worked so hard and would help anyone. My son Jack saw that the first time he meet him and climbed up into his lap. To his family my deepest sympathy. John Raftery and Family

Mrs. Pignatelli, Jim, Mary, Jared, Olivia and family,
My deepest sympathies go to you your family during this difficult time. Lou was a great man. I looked up to him to like a Grandpa. I admired his sense of humor and his hard core work ethic. My fondest memories were chasing him in his car down Old Barrington Rd. on my mini-bike and baking clams with him at Christmas. Lou you worked hard your whole life it's now time you rest in peace with our Lord in heaven. God Bless you and your family.
