Words could never truly express the deep sadness we feel at the loss of Lou. And truly it is an enormous loss! I feel so fortunate to have worked so closely with Lou and to have witnessed both the tower of a man he was at work and a man filled with so much sincere love and concern for those he cared for. He loved and adored his family and offered his generous spirit to all of us that worked for him. The world got a little bit colder the day he left us! God bless your resting, beautiful spirit Lou! And God bless all of the family, especially Helen! May the love of family and friends bring you comfort and peace. With much love, Albert & Mary Elizabeth Salas

WE LOVED YOU OH, SO MUCH
IN ALL THE LIVES YOU'VE TOUCHED
I KNOW YOU'LL KNOW
WE WILL LONG FOR YOU MUCH

I remember when Mr. Elliott would visit his sons at Purdue. There would always be lots of food. If you were friends of Mike and Mark you were family. If you were greek...forget it. To this day I always wipe the top of a soda can before I drink it because he always did. He was a good father.

Dear Helen and Family,
We sit here today with a heavy heart and tears for a friend and one of the best people we could have known. There is a void in our hearts that will only be filled with great memories. A more kind and generous man we have never known, and we are proud to have been able to call him and your family our friends. Helen may God give you peace and comfort with the knowledge that Lou is now resting comfortably with Him. May the peace of God be with you and your family in this time of great sorrow.

God Bless you Lou, because even Heaven is a better place now that you are there.

With Love,
