Dear Ron and Family,
We were so shocked by the news of Lorry's death. What a wonderful person. She had a sense of humor and style about her. She was honest and you knew where you stood with her. That alone is a great quality. I was told once "Always Blessings, Never Losses" How blessed you were to have had her in your lives. She will be greatly missed and you will be in our prayers.

Dear Ron, Teresa, Corey, and Lucas,
May you will find comfort in your wonderful and joyful memories. Having known Lorry since High School (Harper High) we have many memories of all the good times we shared. High School, proms, Twin Lakes, weddings, and growing up and old together... I will miss our "not nearly enough" get-togethers. You will be in our thoughts and prayers. The Del-Dions will never be the same again, we've lost a "good friend"!. All our Love to the Family...

Dear Ron, Teresa, Corey & Lucas
My heart goes out to you for your loss. Lorry was a wonderful person and friend. She will be deeply missed by EVERYONE that knew her and her gift of gab. I know that she was a wonderful teacher many years ago when she taught my son, Andy. She also became a wonderful friend to me when I started working at Strassburg. I miss her.

We will miss you Ms. Orzel. Our deepest sympathy to the family on her loss. It was a total shock and heartache to us because she was so determined in her work and lifestyle. She was such a loving and caring person and always gave advice when needed. She is in a much better place now and will be well taken care of.

My prayers are with the entire Orzel family. I worked with Lorry for six years and she was the kindest, most caring person I have ever met. Her love for the children of our school was seen every day. She gave 110% percent and would find the time to do anything for you when you needed it. She has been missed so much this year and everyone is devastated by her loss. Her life has touched us all.

Lorry Orzel was a great asset to Strassburg School. She always gave 200% in everything, from settling student disputes to gentle guidance of new teachers to whipping up some great sloppy joes for our faculty conference nights. She rarely had a bad thing to say about anyone but could always tell it like it is. She loved the lively art of conversation and I will miss razzing her about her beloved Packers. Now that Bret's gone, you're gonna have to help them, Lor!

I'll always remember Mrs. Orzel as the first teacher to connect and motivate me to strive to overachieve in everything I do including school. I was lucky enough to have her for 4th and 5th grade. Eleven years later, I'm ready to graduate from NIU. Thank You Mrs. Orzel

Mrs. Orzel was the very best. She was my 4th and 5th grade teacher, she is the teacher I will always remember as getting me to be my best. Though we did not always agree we did always stay in touch, atleast a little. I got married a couple years ago and just had to invite her. And I am VERY grateful that her and Ron could make it. She and her family will always be on my mind and in my heart and prayers.
