Lorraine Rabyne Obituary

Dear Roger and Beverly,

I was saddened to hear about your mother's passing. I remember her fondly always with a happy personality and a great smile. I will always remember how she was so close with her parents and our being together at family visits and family Sunday picnics. She was a very special cousin to my father (of blessed memory).

May you be comforted among the mourners of the Jewish people.

Iris and I were very saddened to hear of Lorraine's passing. I loved her personality - it was really something special. And, of course, my dad (he should rest in peace) was especially close to her.

My memories of your mother are from over twenty years ago. I remember her well because she was a very nice, easy to talk to person who was full of energy. I send my condolences to you and your family.

I was so sorry to hear of your mother's passing. My late mother, Zelda Block, considered her one of her closest friends. She was truly a lovely person and I'm sure you'll carry loving memories of her with you through the years.

Yesterday my Dad told me of your mother's passing. I was shocked and saddened by this news. Your mother was a very good friend of my late mother, Zelda Block. They spoke at length on the phone. I know my mom cherished her friendship. I will never forget all the kindness she showed my mom, e.g. scouting respirator hospitals after my mom's accident. Although I live in Israel, I considered your mom my friend also. Even after my mother passed away, we would have lengthy phone conversations. She was a woman who was warm and friendly and so easy to speak with. I truly mourn her death. My sympathies to all the family and friends of Lorraine. We are all better off for having known her.

Dear Bev,Paul,Holly and Austin: we were so saddened to hear of your mothers/grandmothers passing. She was a lovely and caring lady. She was a source of comfort to her family and we know that a little bit of her will remain in all of the hearts of the people who knew and loved her.
