Loretta A. Gerard (nee LaFave), With her daughters by her side, passed away peacefully on August 13, 2024 at age 93. Loving wife of the late Lawrence "Lefty" Gerard. Mother of Karen (late Frank) Krohn & Sharon (Greg) Moe. Daughter of the late John & Irene LaFave. Sister to the late Al (Del) Jakovich and the late Clarence (Jean) LaFave. Much loved grandma/gaga to Mike, Max, late Katie Krohn & Kevin Moe. Loving aunt to many nieces & nephews. Visitation Friday, August 16th from 4:00pm until 7:00pm. Chapel service Saturday, August 17th 10:00am at the KERRY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CARE CENTER, 7020 W 127th Street, Palos Heights. May your soul rest in peace, Mrs. Gerard...always a gentle and sweet lady; nice memories of "fun at Karen's house" on 109th street, from White Castle birthday parties to snowballs in the summer; thanks for the gifts of Karen and Sharon. God bless

Aunt was such a loving and caring person, and it´s clear that she was cherished by everyone who knew her. We´ll always remember the wonderful stories she shared-they were a true reflection of her vibrant spirit. Her presence will be deeply missed, but her love, warmth and kindness will remain in our hearts forever.
