Nord, LoRayne A. 86, of Plainfield, since 1989, formerly of Chicago. At rest November 12, 2007. Born June 15, 1921, in Chicago. LoRayne is survived by her loving children, James P. Nord, Virginia Latta and Mary Ellyn Nord, seven grandchildren, 15 great-gradchildren and one great-great-grandchild; her brother, John (Joann) Wallseck; her sister-in-law, Sophia Wallseck and brother-in-law, Dr. Kenneth Rankin. She was preceded in death by her parents, Helen and Michael Wallseck; her sister, Betty Jane Rankin; and her brother, Bernard Wallseck. Member of Holy Spirit Catholic Community of Naperville. Memorials to Joliet Area Community Hospice, 250 Water Stone Circle, Joliet, 60431 would be appreciated. Visitation Tuesday, 3 to 8 p.m., at Overman-Jones Funeral Home, corner of Rt. 30 and 59, Plainfield.
