Lois Louise Lawing Rick, 76, of Gastonia, North Carolina, an employee of American Efird Mills in Mt. Holly, North Carolina, before her retirement, died at her residence on Friday, February 14, 2003. Visitation is scheduled for Sunday, February 16, 2003, 7-9 p.m., at Carothers Funeral Home, 226 South Main Street, Mt. Holly. Funeral services are scheduled for Monday, February 17, 2 p.m., at the funeral home, officiated by Rev. Keith Hearn. Burial will be at Pineview Cemetery. Memorial donations are appreciated to Cancer Services of Gason County, 220 East Franklin Boulevard, Gastonia, NC 28052. Arrangements entrusted to Carothers Funeral Home, Mt. Holly, North Carolina.
