Sometimes there are
just no words
to say those things
that are deepest in our hearts.
Lois was a great woman, delightful roommate, best friend and dear cousin that I miss very much.

How lucky I was that my first job out of high school was in the Advertising Dept. of Standard Oil where I first met both Lois and Carlene. It wasn't until I was older that I realized what a remarkable person Lois was and how blessed all of us were that we knew her. She will be missed.

Some people come into our lives and quickly go.
Some stay for awhile and leave footprints on our hearts.
And we are never, ever the same. This anonymous saying is the
way I feel about Lois! I will miss her immensely!

Lois Mack McDonald took me under her wing in the early 60's when I was a young Steno joining the work force right after high school. She immediately accepted me with no judgment, endearing me to her forever. Rest in peace dear lady.

Lois was a beautiful person and gave of herself selflessly. As a volunteer for hospice, where I was the volunteer director, I got to know her not only for her charitable works and compassion, but her humor and fun-loving spirit as well. She became a friend and we enjoyed many good times together. I will cherish the times I had with Lois and will miss her very much.

I was blessed to have worked with Lois at Amoco Oil. Lois certainly was a role model in many ways to me with her expertise, her honesty, humor, and unique caring for everyone! She will certainly be missed by many but we will hold fond memories of Lois in our hearts.

Lois was one of those people who make your day. At least her smile, good humor and constant willingness to help did that for me on many, many occasions over the years at Amoco. The world was a richer place with Lois' presence. She counted, and she will be missed.

Lois was a dear sister-inlaw and great friend. She profoundly changed the lives of all who knew her. and I remeber a few lines from a Shakespeare play that apply to her..... And when she shall die, cut her into litle stars......and she will make the heavens so fine...that the world will fall in love with night.......

I have loved, enjoyed and appreciated Lois since we were grade-schoolers together. Her kindness, humor, charity and faith have been a model to me through all the years. I will miss her blithe spitit as, I am certain, will each and every person who knew her, no matter how briefly.

Lois and I started at Amoco (Standard Oil then) at the same time and subsequently worked together in the Advertising dept. We became friends and, while we have not seen each other for a time, there was still a bond between us. She will be missed...and remembered.

Lois was my father's assistant at Amoco Oil. I have not seen her for a very long time, but I will always remember her sweet smile and beautiful voice.

God bless you, Lois. And thanks for your graciousness, friendship, and help over the years. You sure made it a pleasure to work with you and the ad department for all of us agency types. Peace.

I had the distinct pleasure to know and have worked with Lois at Amoco. She was a friendly voice in the Advertising department and a dedicated employee. I called her Wonder Woman because of the volume of work she turned out every day. She has been a friend of mine and my entire family for 30 years. We will miss her very much.God Bless.
