Lois E. Eggers
Lois E. Eggers left this earth to be in the presence of the Savior on July 17, 2007, truly, eternity is hers.
Lois enjoyed the rarest of awe inspiring marriages to her best friend, partner, confidante, and the name she equated with "love", Jack, for 59 years. She was a sales representative for a National Company, retiring to care for her husband after his heart attack in 1976. She lived in the Akron area most of her life, but also took pleasure in the time she lived in North Carolina and Florida. This lovely lady had an amazing zest for life, great sense of humor, was hard working, optimistic and happy almost all the time. Her smile could melt any heart, she sang and whistled just to let all the joy out and spread it to others, and her laugh was melodious and infectious. Lois was easy to know and a delight to know. Her warmth and caring were always easily evident, as she wore her heart on her sleeve. The world is a better place because she was here.
She was preceded in death by the love of her life, and husband, Jack D. Eggers; parents, Arthur Coe and Cordia (Drew) Coe; brother, Harold Coe; and sister, Mary Sarvis. She is survived by her devoted children, Carolyn, Jack 11, Pamela, and Richard Eggers; her treasured sister, Hilda Brooke; loving sister-in-law, Susan Aurand and her husband Harold; three grandsons, Jack, Daniel, and Joshua; and numerous nieces and nephews.
We will celebrate the life of Lois E. Eggers, at a memorial service in her honor beginning at 2 p.m. TODAY at Adams-Mason Memorial Chapel, 791 E. Market St., Akron. Pastor Dave Fisher will be officiating followed by a time of sharing memories of Lois for those who would like to, and we invite you to join us there and share how she touched your life. You have MY deepest sympathy in your time of sorrow. Your mom was truly a joy. Although this painful loss needs only to be temporary, there is still a deep void. Dear Pam, Jack, Richard & Caroline,
You have our deepest sympathy in your time of sorrow. Your mom was truly a joy to be around, and that joy was infectious. Even on a bad day, she could spread her kind, loving, and gentle spirit to others. Although this painful loss needs only to be temporary, there is still a deep void. Your friends and family can pray you through this difficult time. We pray you have all made the choice to reunite with her in heaven.

My deepest condolences to Pam, Jack and Richard. Lois was a very special lady and I thought of her as my Mother, also. I really enjoyed talking to her and laughing with her as we shared our health issues together. She also shared how grateful she was for her daughter Pam's wonderful care. I know that she is in Heaven now and is no longer suffering with any pain. You know I love you my friend Pam and that God has a "special" plan for you.

Lois was a wonderful woman. She had the love of life in her eyes. I was given one of the greatest gifts from Lois, her daughter Pamela as a friend. When I spoke to Lois about life, she let me know that things do get rough, but with God's blessings, you can survive anything. Lois is deeply loved and will be greatly missed. Thank you Lois for the gift of love on this earth.
