Dear Joyce and Lucarelli families,
I am so, so sorry to hear about Lizanne's passing. I have such fond memories of hanging out with Liz in St. Mary's grammar school, Main St. in Allenhurst, the Allenhurst Beach Club, St. Rose High School, soccer games, dances, cruising in Liz's Monte Carlo, and all the sleep overs at the Surrey Lane house. Lizanne was such a fun person and I am sorry we lost touch when everyone went off to college. I am glad she met the man of her dreams at college and had such a wonderful family. I am sorry I didn't get to meet you all. To the Lucarelli's, please know that I thought of Liz often even though we were not in touch. My thoughts and prayers go out to the entire Joyce and Lucarelli families on the loss of such a wonderful wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend.

Dear Liz's Loved Ones,
You are all in our family's prayers.
Liz was exuberant, kind and a big smile welcoming you to J. McLaughlin. As two Italians, we talked New York, Jersey, and East Coast memories. We had many laughs.
She spoke often of her "great kids and husband, loving parents, siblings and extended family."
Liz always made my 90 year old mother, Agnes, feel like she was buying her first "prom" dress. She shared her love for life with all.
Let faith, family and friends guide you. Reflect often on your wonderful memories with her. God has welcomed Liz into eternal life.

Mike,
I will never forget sitting in church at Faith, Hope before Mass one Sunday shortly after my Betty's death many years ago. I felt a firm hand on my shoulder as my old fellow Sunday School teacher walked down the aisle to his pew. Not a word was exchanged, but your simple, eloquent gesture meant--and still means--so much to me.
I only wish that I were closer today to attempt to offer you some measure of that kind of comfort. Know that I am there in spirit, and that my prayers are with you and yours.

Michael,
My sincerest condolences for you and your family. It seems not so long ago that I introduced Liz and you at Winston's in Georgetown. So much water has moved under the bridge since that night. Earlier this year Liz and I talked on the phone and reminisced with mostly laughter and interest about each other's families. She had expressed an idea and was excited about getting MaryJo, Joanne, Debbie, and me together for a long weekend in New York. That would have turned the town on its ear! I am sure that the before mentioned conversation preceded this apparent sudden illness. I am so sorry for your loss and wish you and yours comfort and lots of happy memories.

To the Joyce and Lucarelli Families:
I am so sorry for your loss. The pain you are feeling now is terrible.
It will take all of your faith to stay strong - but do try to stay strong.
When my father died - I was afraid. I was afraid that I would forget the sound of his voice; the smell of his aftershave; there were so many things that I thought I would forget. That was 20 years ago - and although the pain lasts a long time -- there has never been any loss of my memories of my Dad.
Your pain right is so very raw - so brutal -- I can' thelp you with this pain - but I can tell that you need not be afraid.
The pain will go away and your memories (and my memories and all of memories that your friends and family have of Liz) will not fade nor disappear.
They will (these memories) someday bring you comfort and smiles - when now (this very moment) they seem to only bring tears and angst.
Peace to you - please be good to yourself. Please get rest and eat well -- and be strong.
You are all in my thoughts.

Dear Lucarelli Family,
We were so sorry to hear about the death of your very dear Liz. I had not seen her for many years, in fact probably not since the days of St. Mary School. Her sisters, Maura and Lydia were in my boys classes. I also know young Bruno and of course Bruno,Sr. and Sheila.
Losing a child has to be the worse thing that parents have to endure. So, Bruno and Sheila, please accept our very sincere sympathy on the loss of your dear Liz.
To her husband and family, please accept our very sincere sympathy too. Sorry, but we never did get to meet you.
May it comfort you to know that others care and share in your sorrow. Just know that one day you will all be reunited in Heaven where every tear shall be wiped away. Until that time, you and your family will be remember in my thoughts and prayers.
God Bless!
