Lisa Rassmussen Obituary

I am so sorry to hear of Lisa's passing. I knew her in high school (so we go back a long time) and she always had a warm smile on her face. May she rest in peace.

Jon, Chris, and I only met Lisa in June of 2006 when our mother Barbara Leischow was very ill, and then passed away. Lisa was a person you could become close with right away, she was such a warm and caring person, as well as her whole family.I will never forget the love and strength she bought to all of us.God is lucky to have another angel with him. I am going to miss my mother so very much. She was the strongest, brightest, and most caring woman that i will ever know. My most missed memory is when i am having a rough time and how she would pet my face with her finger tips till i would stop crying and fal asleep. Thank you SOOO much to all of our amazing family and friends who have been there for us during all of the hard struggles with this unfair disease.

Lisa became a special friend of mine from the first time when she drew my blood from me at Park Nicollet and through all of our meetings together at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church. I never met Lisa, but she was brought to life with love and joy that only sisters can bring to each other through Vicki's stories. My thoughts and prayers are with you all and for Lisa to be at peace.
