Dearest Lisa:
It is late Friday night 08/03 and I am feeling down in the dumps. This morning our cat Banshee had to be put to sleep. She was over 20 years old and shutting down. Althougt this morning was the kindest thing to do I am still sad. It reminds me of 4 years ago and how our daily routines become so embodied within us. This evening I walked the house to move her to the bedroom out of routine. Colleen was put to sleep Easter Saturday of last year. I wish that all the things we truly love lasted forever but that is not the case. All I hope is that all things living are reconnected in the cosmos after life and that you have Colleen and Banshee with you. Funny, all day long I've been remembering the apartment above Rutherford and how we asked to bring in the one cat,Colleen, but brought both and kept it a secret. Then came a week long Union event and your Dad agreed to feed and water Colleen with us believing he would never see Banshee because she was so timid. Then came the emergency phone call from your Dad. He thought he had done something seriously wrong with Colleen because she looked like a different cat when in all actuality it was a different cat and finally the jig was up. I have thought of that so many times today that it has helped with the hurt of the loss this morning. I just hope that all living things reconnect in the after-life and that the two cats you loved so much are with you.

Dear Lisa Ann,
yesterday was the 21st...four years ago ,God called you home....but it seems like a short time ago,so vivid in my mind sweetheart. I will never forget that call. It was when time stood still for me,and those words still echo in my mind. My "Gerber baby" ( as I use to call you) your picture stays with me, as if it was a beautiful painting,hanging in the gallery of my soul. Not a day goes by,that I don't visit that painting. I will always miss my you my wonderful daughter, Your caring ways and our long talks on the phone...that little grin as you handed me a lovely bouquet of flowers.... when you would visit. I know that you watch over me now...stay with me threw every crisis I go through ...and send a warmth of love...still. I love you dearly Lisa Ann and for-ever will miss you.

My Dearest Lisa,
It is Friday evening 07/20/2012 and tomorrow 07/21/2012 it will be 4 years since you were taken from us. Even after 4 years there are two things burned vividly into my brain from 6:00am on Monday morning 07/21/2008 as though it were yesterday. First is how helpless I felt even performing CPR as trained and second staring into each others eyes knowing the seriousness of what was happening yet the glimmer of hope in each others eyes that things would be alright. For 4 years now there are two things that I often attempt to impress upon people. First is, "Life is Fraigle" and second, "Treasure each Moment". Over the last four years I feel as though you have intervened on my part in guiding me, protecting me and loving me from where ever it is we go. Even today you are in my heart and in my mind no less then before you left us and always will be. I Love You, I Miss You and I Thank You for your guidance and ever watchful beautiful brown eyes..........

Trying to say goodbye to Lisa is something I can't do. But I will say see you later. She is on a new journey, I see her beautifully at peace and surrounded by love and joy. When we are born I was told the crease on the top of your lip was put there by God to keep all the secrets of heaven and when our soul leaves this earth all the questions we never could answer are there. Her greatest joy was making others happy. Lisa was my Union Steward at Osco and later at C.V.S. Lisa was my best Union Steward always looking out to help others. She truly cared about the people she worked with and tried to help all out. She will be missed.

I didn't realize it's been so long since we saw each other last. Time flies by so fast. We were closer than sisters could be. Been thru so much together, good and bad. Stood by each other, cause that's what friends are for.
