Dear Pastor Schneekloth,

I was shocked and saddened to learn of Linda's death. I treasure her years of service on the Board of Directors of Lutheran Child and Family Service of Illinois. She was such a strong advocate and voice of the poor and most vulnerable among us. God be with you.

Dear Pastor Larry,

We were saddened and shocked to hear that the Lord has called Linda home. Her music was a blessing to countless numbers. She will be greatly misssed. May her soul be bound up in the bonds of eternal life and may perpetual light shine upon her.

I recall that Linda sang "In the Garden" at my mother's funeral (it was sung at my Mother's, Mother's funeral). I can't tell you how much it meant to us. She will be in our heart's forever as her angelic voice was appreciated during the time of our family's loss.

I can't count the number of times we think of you. Your Church is in our prayers. We know that your ministry continues to be a source of strength for the community.

Before we moved to Florida, there was a certian amount of denial that it was really happening. There was such a whirlwind of activity surrounding our "business transactions" that we never had a chance to stop by for a "proper" good-bye. After we got here, we always thought we would be up soon to have a chance to visit and catch up on happenings. Before we knew it, six years had past, and so has the opportunity to tell Linda how much her message in music meant to our family.

We all look forward to hearing her singing "In the Garden" again, when we all meet on the day of our Lord.

Pastor Larry,

Trying to imagine how difficult your loss must be,we would like to offer you the opportunity for some respite time. If you would like to spend some time viewing God's handywork, we would like to offer you some time at the beach. The Sons of the Pioneers said " The Place that I Worship is the Wide Open Spaces, Built By the Hand of the Lord. "

If you would like some time to reflect, at the source of God's handywork, we would like to send you a ticket to come down for a visit. You can spend as much or as little time with us as you would like, and you can do some quality "inner battery recharging". I would love the opportunity to take you fishing, as St. Peter found it to be a good and honorable pastime.

We love you and grieve for your loss.

Please call us when you're up to it.

Love in Christ +, Always
