Lillian Streicher Obituary
Streicher, Lillian (nee Slavin), died peacefully at the Age of 91, devoted wife of the late William Streicher, loving mother of Rick (Essie), Dennis (Pam), and Mark (Janice) Streicher, proud "Grams" of Yvette (Craig) Ostroff, Kevin (Jen) Streicher, Joel (Melissa) Streicher, and Lori (Tim) Jankowski, cherished great-"Grams" of Maya, Lauren, Isaac (Ostroff), and Aden Jankowski, fond sister of the late Millie (the late Jerry) Weintraub and the late Sam (the late Fran) Slavin. Lill was blessed to have the wonderful loving care from her caregivers Bliss, Debbie, Linda, Hannah, Arsenia, Lennie, and Maya. Lill will be missed by many friends, nieces and nephews and remembered for her kindness, work ethic and wonderful sense of humor. Lill worked for Niles Township Dept of Special Education and Lincolnwood School District 74 for over 40 Years. After her retirement at the age of 80, she went back as a Volunteer for which she was recognized by receiving the Lincolnwood Human Relations Commission Award in 2007. Services Thursday, at 12:30 p.m. at Ezra Habonim the Niles Township Jewish Congregation, 4500 West Dempster, Skokie. Interment Waldheim. Memorials in her memory can be made to St. Agatha Foundation, c/o Dan Geary at Convergent Wealth Advisors, 150 N. Radnor Chester Rd., Suite 100, Radnor, PA 19807.
