Glick, Lila (nee Sherman), beloved wife for 63 years of Seymour, loving mother of Helen (George) Solomon, Paul Glick (Mary Beth Siegel), and Ron (Debby) Glick, adored Grandma Lila of Esther (Leo), Andrew, Max, Diana, Jane, Julia, Joey, Carl, and Laura, dear sister of the late Marshall (Dixie) Sherman, and Allen (the late Shirley) Sherman, fond aunt and cherished friend to many. Chapel service Monday, 10:00 a.m. at Shalom Memorial Funeral Home, 1700 W. Rand Road, Arlington Heights. Interment Shalom Memorial Park. Memories and Condolences
for Lila Glick

Though Jeff sent condolences from the family, I want to add that we will never forget Lila reading "Elmer the Elephant" to our daughters on Lila's and Seymour's visit to Petaluma back in 1995. I have the cherished picture of her reading to them on the couch, and will always have the treasured memory of that lovely visit. Love to you all -- thank you for sharing her with us.

Dear Uncle Seymour and the entire Glick family,
My deepest sympathies for this tremendous loss. Lila was always my favorite aunt, ever since early childhood. She raised wonderful kids and made this world a better place. I will miss her always.

Dear Seymour and family, Terry and I are saddened by the passing of Lila. She was certainly Mom's (Frieda Potash) best friend forever and such a warm and loving person. We still have the quilt she made our daughter 32 years ago. God bless. Susan & Terry Potash. Gurnee IL.
