Les Merrill was my uncle. I have many fond memories of him from my childhood. He was a talented artisan, an avid golfer and always ready to greet us with a hug and a smile. I will always remember him with his massive glass of iced tea and at Christmas time being in awe of the enormous amount of lights he pain-stakingly placed on every branch of his children's tree. It always glowed with a seemingly extra twinkle of radiance. I like to believe because it was filled with his love. I know my cousins, Teri, Timmy and Tony will miss their dad immensly and his passing has left a void in their hearts, but with time, I hope his love and memories will fill their hearts with warmth and give them strength. I know I will always carry fond memories of Uncle Les within my heart.
With loving thoughts and prayers,
Jana
