TO MY BIG SISTER,
i know that for most your life you have had a never ending struggle.Whether its with your school or your illness u always had to deal with something. The way you handled it was truley remarkable. u never let things get to you, and you showed compasion to everyone. Im going to miss you very much. Things will never be the same.Mom and dad really miss every ascpect you brought to there and everyones life.I just wanna say that speedy and simba miss you,ill never say that the Tiburon is my car..it will always be known as leslies leprachaun and i will always remember u owe me some chinese food!:) but u bought so many things that ill let the chinese food slip by this time. But seriously i promise that i will take care of the dogs and of our parents while your gone.I will take care of YOUR car and make sure that it doesnt have any new scratches unless i did it...(sorry in advance if i do)we always had fun together and i feel that you are still with me and all of us. Just like gramps we have another angel looking after us. I know that you already have guided me away from harmwhich i am greatly appreciative. There will always be four members of our family. I know that you are with gramps and grandma and with all the angels in heaven. You prolly even met the crocodile hunter since u always liked that show. Now that u are in heaven i know that ur power to help people has just gotten more powerful...that and the fact you dont have to get poked in the arm or go to hosptials or doctors makes me feel slightly less sad. Like gramps i know that its selfish to say i want u to be here forever but i know that this wasnt ment to be. God works in mysterious ways, but i think he just wanted to take you away from the pain we know here in earth. That and mabe he needs some things from HSN:) i know that u would want me to stay the same and i feel like i would have to write a message like if i were talking to u so thats why i always try to lighten the mood just like when u where here. Im not going to say good bye im just going to say see u later.no matter wat u know that ur family here on earth misses u alot.
LOVE YOUR BROTHER,
EDDIE aka "pancake head"

Having a friend like Leslie was such a special gift. She was the most thoughtful person I have ever met. With every gesture and every kind word she brought light to my life. I will always keep her in my heart and in my prayers. I know that Leslie is an angel that will be with us always. May your family find peace in knowing that your daughter is in heaven surrounded by love. On September 19, 2006 I know that Leslie heard the most beautiful song in heaven and she felt our love. I know she can see that we truly miss her and love her. I thank your family so much for sending me the remembrance cards for Leslie. Even though I was not able to be with you on those sad days my mind and spirit were there. May God bless you all and give you strength.
Love always,
Margaret Hayes

I was Leslie's Dean at Queen of Peace and I have never seen a student work harder to graduate from High School. She was a special young woman and will be missed.
