I was very saddened to hear of leroy's passing. he was a true friend to both my husband timothy and I, as well as our children. leroy took us under his care and always made sure that we were okay with our housing through the years of raising our family in blue island. I have thought of him often and how grateful I was to have him as a friend. may gussie and her family have wonderful memories of leroy for what a true loving, giving and caring person that he was.

My thoughts and prayers are with the family, however, I don't know many of you. Yet, the name Corradino is in my address book. Carol Lou Ulrich was my best girl friend growing up in Roseland. I believe she married Albert. Now that I am living in Des Plaines, I will try to reconnect. In loving sympathy, Sister Marlene Panko, SSND.

Here was truly a gentle-man,
with the roar of a Venetian Lion,
and the finesse of a Roman Cardinal.

From my first meeting as a young teacher/coach with this so very proud dad, I knew he was a force to be reckoned with...

How was I to know that Leroy's life would be best around a Sunday family dinner and wonderful conversation.

May Leroy now rest with our good God, and may the Lord and his kind mother, walk with you, Gussie, David, Dino, and Denise and your families.

You are in my prayers and the Marist family prayers. And, I look forward to a visit when I see you in Chicago very soon.

With love and much sympathy,

Pamela Joy
