Leopoldo Alberto Escobedo Sr. of Clute, Texas was born January 19, 1946 in San Benito, Texas to Teodora (Cruz) and Juan Escobedo Sr. and died Friday, June 14, 2013 in Lake Jackson, Texas at the age of 67 years, 4 months and 26 days.
He is preceded in death by his parents; son, Leopoldo A. Escobedo Jr.; son-in-law, Manuel J. Mendoza Sr. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Rosaura Velez Escobedo; sons, Fernando Escobedo Sr. and his wife Yasmin of Victoria, Texas, Johnny Escobedo and his wife Ruby of Houston, Texas, Reynaldo Escobedo and his wife Cali of Lake Jackson, Texas; daughters, Dora Mendoza and her husband Benny of Alabama, Maria Ramos and her husband Cleto of Richwood, Texas, Martha Escobedo of Freeport, Texas, Cindy Escobedo of Clute, Texas, Rosa Escobedo and her husband Oscar Ledesma Jr. of Richwood, Texas; grandchildren, Amanda, Chris, Giselle, Manuel Jr., Edwardo, Amber, Tony, Briana, Alexis, Fernando Jr., Adrian, Matthew, Valerie, Joe, Lil Rob, Peewee, A. J., Porsha, Lil J, Brittany, Jordan, Ivyonne, Kaila, Reynaldo Jr., Martha; great grandchildren; brother, Juan Escobedo Jr. and sister, Manuela Escobedo.
