Although we are related, we never met you. May you rest in peace forever. We send our condolences to your family. God Bless.

My name is John Jasionowski and I considered Len a good friend for over 30 years.
The last time I saw Len was at Tony's Supermarket on Central Ave. a few years ago. I told him I wouldn't see him at the Union golf outing because of my bad back. I know he told me about some health problems also.
Len and I served the C.T.U. in many capacities and activities from the Desmond years to our retirements.
I generally take a Florida vacation in early January and was not aware of Len's death until a friend told me of it when I returned home.
But, I will always remember Len as a wonderful father, teacher and friend. He was a great man, and will be missed.
Sincerely, John Jasionowslo 1-30-13

My prayers and thoughts are with you and your family. We pray that your soul joins the Trinity and live in Glory Forever. You were a good human being and instilled a lasting affect on me as your student at Cooley High. I will never forget you and the good you did as a teacher. You were the Best with a capital B.

Len, our thougtful, kind and dedicated teacher family member, will be missed and in our prayers. The handsome talented softball athlete, sometimes refered to as saint Len in family discussions, was a favorite of our kids Rob and Kristin as we gathered for some spitited visits at area restaurants. Fond memories will linger. Rest in peace until we meet again.

Darlene, While we have never met, Len (Harpo), as I knew your husband, and I were TKE brothers at NIU during the 1950's. Len was kind, friendly, could
make anyone laugh. I'm not used to this. Sorry. Jim Eyre (Placentia, Calif.)

My deepest sympathy to the entire family. I knew Leonard as an excellent and dedicated teacher. I also knew him as a loving, caring, and concerned parent, as I was the teacher of his children at Schubert School in Chicago. God Bless.
