BURGESS- Leonard L., Jr., 81, of Bourne, Thursday, August 4, 2005, in Boston; husband of Elaine (Mitchell) Burgess; father of Kathleen A. Burgess, James E. Burgess, Thomas D. Burgess, Jeffrey S. Burgess, Mary Ellen Burgess, and Michael Burgess all of Buzzard's Bay, Patricia Odams of Maine and the late Leonard L. Burgess III; also survived by many grandchildren, nieces and nephews and sisters and brothers in law. A Funeral will be held on Monday, August 8, 2005, at 10:00am from the Stott, Chapman, Cole & Gleason Funeral Home, 2599 Cranberry Highway (Route 28), Wareham, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00am in Saint Margaret's Church, 141 Main Street, Buzzard's Bay. Burial will follow at the V.A. Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne. Visitation will be held Sunday from 5 to 8 P.M. at the funeral home.
